[Amol Sagvekar] mmediate Action:
Engage in one-on-one discussions with developers and stakeholders to gather their perspectives on the unmet sprint goal. A retrospective can also serve as a valuable forum for discussing and addressing the reasons behind the unmet sprint goal.

Long term Action:
Long-term actions could involve providing training to Product Owners for improved user story writing, assigning Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to cross-verify estimations, and offering training to developers in case of technology-related proficiency gaps.

[Niels Malotaux] I'm not a SM, but as a Result Coach, I will first ask: "What are we going to do about it?", and probably, those people not being stupid, they come up with suggestions.
I work with weekly TaskCycles, where people define what they are going to do, in order to achieve what they think they should achieve.
If they didn't finish what they planned to do/achieve, the next week we take less work on us. Because if we fail every week, we won't learn.
Result: within two to three weeks, people deliver as planned.
