[Heena Kumari] I always found this as an hindrance As it stops us to create a connect with the person,, so i started keeping something extra always in meetings.
I used to start the meeting with very light and interactive topics so that everyone is comfortable.. And I always add some extra interactive informational and useful knowledge sharing with the team, where people feel like they are knowing and learning something extra than their daily office chores but still important for their personal and professional growth.
I used to tell them techniques for tips on personality development, professional growth, what extra is demanded in market, some corporate yoga techniques to help them become more positive and proactive, some NLP techniques, some influential techniques and the idea goes on.
When people feel comfortable and feel they are having something beautiful and extra to know/learn, they themselves become comfortable and easy with the cameras.
With all this, i simultaneously coach them with the benefits and pros cons of discussions with their cameras ON.
