1. Schedule the calendar as recurring with same time and place
2. Have the JIRA board open, discuss and update
3. Discuss quickly if any dependencies on stories and external team
4. If the team is facing any specific challenges, park them aside and discuss them in detail in follow-up meetings with SMEs

As a Scrum Master, my approach to facilitating the Daily Scrum revolves around creating a structured yet dynamic environment that fosters collaboration and transparency among team members. I start by setting clear expectations for the meeting, emphasizing the importance of time-boxing and active participation. At the beginning of each Daily Scrum, I encourage team members to share their progress, plans, and any impediments they're facing toward the Sprint Goal. I encourage everyone an equal opportunity to speak and actively listen to each other's updates.

To maintain focus and productivity, I gently steer the conversation back on track if it veers off course, keeping discussions relevant to the Sprint Goal. I also encourage team members to address any challenges or blockers openly, fostering a culture of problem-solving and support. Throughout the meeting, I remain vigilant of time constraints, gently reminding team members to keep their updates concise and relevant.

This approach proved effective during a particularly challenging Sprint where our team was struggling to meet deadlines due to unforeseen technical issues. By facilitating focused and transparent Daily Scrums, we were able to identify the root causes of our challenges quickly and collaboratively develop solutions. This approach not only helped us stay on track with our Sprint Goal but also strengthened team cohesion and morale.
