[Ravi Wray] Another point here is, in my experience I have had some team members who are introvert but have great ideas, also there are people who make notes of the discussions and observations through the day and bring up during the meeting. As an Agilist/ facilitator it's our responsibility to bring up those ideas and points to the front. So even if we think we may not anything to discuss things may come up. Even if it's not 3 questions to answer we surely need this meetings to summarise, check impediments, bring up ideas etc.
If yes, get rid of the Daily Standup Meeting and observe how things develop. If their approach of "collaborating throughout the day and inspecting their progress" fails, bring it back during a retrospective to solve the issue. The goal of the DSM is to support developers in their daily tasks, not to add extra pressure to their workload.
Are we here to police Scrum or to deliver value? Time to think differently.

If the answer to majority of the purpose is yes , can cancel the daily scrum and let these calls run suggesting small improvements from time to time.
If the answer is NO , can coach them on the purpose the daily scrum should solve and then let them decide if they want to incorporate those improvements in their collaboration call or try and perfect them as part of the daily scrum itself.
